Joseph Lambert, who used to work at John Harvey Kellogg’s Battle Creek Sanitarium invented the peanut butter making machine in the early time then Dr. Ambrose Straub updated the machine and gave it a new benchmark in 1903. When American started promoting “Meatless Days” then peanut butter became more and more popular in dining tables of Americans. The process for making smooth peanut butter was invented by chemist Joseph Rosefield in 1922. Using partially hydrogenated oil, he invented the way of separating oil from peanut butter. That gave a smooth texture to peanut butter. Later in 1928 Joseph Rosefield licensed a company and started making peanut butter with the name :Peter Pan Peanut Butter”.
